Ryan Leslie – How It Was Supposed To Be

From his self titled debut album, Ryan Leslie, this particular track, according to Wikipedia, has received a three video treatment. Each video having its own theme and with this one in particular, the standard R&B beat is replaced by a moving rock instrumental.

Listening to the original and comparing it to the “rock” version, there seems to be something missing, maybe its an instruments ability to properly convey the emotions at hand instead of simple bleeps and bloops.
